SiC scan optics and high-speed mirrors for high-power lasers
Mersen high speed mirrors enable a game-change in the laser scanner industry through the physical characteristics, performance and cost benefits of SiC material.
It brings together two cutting-edge technologies:
- Boostec® SiC material combined with
- optoSiC® unique Know-How of optical laser scanner techniques and component technologies.
-
optoSiC® mirrors for standard laser applications
Mersen manufactures a range of standard Generic XY laser galvo scanning mirrors from 10mm to 100mm apertures for single pair consumption with a range of high-quality reflective coatings.
Our customers have the option to get the mirrors with and without a glued mount in all standard shaft sizes. Furthermore, we are able to manufacture in accordance to customer specifications. OEM products in different grades of SiC up to 500mm and more in geometry are available on request.
-
optoSiC® mirrors ultra-high performance with Fast Steering Mirrors in SiC material
optoSiC® steering mirrors are designed for a variety of tip-tilt applications. These mirrors are manufactured as optoSiC+ grade, a unique Silicon Carbide, to give optimum stiffness, dynamic flatness and high resonant frequencies under high torque loadings.
Our unique solution offers very low Moment of Inertia for all moving applications where processing speed and precise performance is paramount.
optoSiC® steering mirrors are standard polished to interferometric controlled reflective-wavefront-error of e.g. 1/2*λ PV @632,8nm, (2*λ….1/8λ on request). Furthermore, we are able to manufacture in accordance to customer specifications.
