Mersen’s Compact Fused Disconnect incorporates the switch functionality with the high protection level of a fuse. The switch accepts UL class CC fuses up to 30A. In addition to this, the Compact Fused Disconnect is UL 98 listed and suitable for use as main/feeder device and, in conjunction with CC fuses, is rated for branch circuit protection. It has a smaller footprint compared to a traditional Class CC disconnect with a max interrupting rating of 200kA.

The compact form factor and ease of installation makes it a great choice for panel builders. The easy lockout/tagout feature and IP20 rating ensures additional safety along with the built in switch capability.

The Mersen FS Series is a UL 98 Listed fused disconnect switch designed for branch circuit protection using any UL Listed Class J fuse. Engineered for performance and convenience, the FS Series delivers the high interrupting capacity of Class J fuses (200kA SCCR) in the same footprint of a fuse holder. It occupies less space than a standard fuse holder and traditional disconnect switch combination, enabling more streamlined panel designs and improved off-the-shelf distribution availability when time and convenience matter most. Available in 30A and 60A versions, the FS Series includes lockout/tagout (LOTO) capability and integrated LED fuse status indication.

Mersen’s fusible disconnect switches are listed to UL 98 and bear the CE mark conforming to IEC 60947-3. They are “service entrance” devices capable of fully rated load-break and load-make. While longterm safety, reliability, and functionality are always paramount in the design of our products, these switches are also engineered to have the smallest footprint. The modular design allows placement of the handle anywhere amongst the poles. The fuse doors cannot open when the switch is in the “ON” position, and all switches are double-break, which isolates both fuse clips from voltage during fuse replacement. The switches’ “Test” position allows actuation of the auxiliary contacts without main power. Power taps enable energizing a CPT or surge device without the need for a separate terminal block. A wide range of ergonomic handles and accessories is available.
