Surge-Trap® Signal - STS PLC

STS PLC is the series of surge protection devices for digital signals and in particular for programmable logic controllers. The range offers a number of voltages and number of protected lines for a variety of applications as well as a terminal block ultra-slim format. These are protectors for a final step of very fine protection to be installed as close as possible to particularly sensitive equipment connected to these communications lines.

Protistor® size 000/00 aR, 500 to 690VAC (IEC / UL) / 600VDC (UL)

The 690V Protistor® fuse-links provide maximum flexibility in equipment design and ultimate protection for small power conversion equipment. These ultra-fast acting aR fuses have been engineered to provide state-of-the-art protection for semiconductors: diodes, thyristors and IGBT devices. They are assembled with die-cut elements embedded in solidified sand, which helps control arcing characteristics for a lower I²t and high interrupting rating level. All contact surfaces are silver plated and all hardware is non-magnetic.
Each fuse-link can be equipped with a low voltage trip-indicator which can operate a field mountable microswitch.
